Mission

The Palestinian Cultural Organization Malaysia (PCOM) is an independent, non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. PCOM aims to promote concerns and issues of the occupied Palestine, and to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation with all components of the Malaysian society on cultural, educational, and political levels; as well as to conduct an open and constructive dialogue with officials, academicians, activists, journalists, and other individuals in Malaysia, in order to propagate and mobilize support for the Palestinian rights in obtaining freedom, peace, and prosperity. PCOM was launched on 14th February 2011 with the presence of His Excellency Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and several Malaysian leaders and figures.

To develop mutual understanding and cooperation between Palestine and Malaysia.

Strategic Goal

To initiate and expand our network of bilateral and multilateral relations with all Malaysian people, as well as public and private institutions.

To promote concerns and issues of the occupied Palestine through open constructive dialogue with Malaysian officials,academics activities,journalists and other individuals in Malaysia.

To maintain and facilitate the interests of Palestinians in Malaysia, and provide them with opportunities, resources and assistance.

To become a model for international Palestinian NGOs through achieving organizational excellence based on creative teamwork, organizational learning and continuous development.

Board of Trustes

At the top level, PCOM is led by a dedicated group of a Board of Trustees, whose composition gives one an insight into how PCOM has been guided, directed and advised by individuals best placed to contribute to its highest effectiveness. The significance of The Board of Trustees cannot be overstated. The Board with its combined expertise, talents, pool of experience and hands on stewardship has been instrumental in ensuring PCOM has a strong based to practices our means and share benefits to form one of a best platform.
